Salado’s Frazier to play baseball at UMHB

Salado pitcher Casey Frazier announced via Twitter on Friday that he would continue his baseball career at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.

“First, UMHB is a great school with a great campus,” Frazier told KDHPressbox.com. “Also, the baseball facilities at UMHB are excellent and the program is on the rise. Plus, I talked a lot with the UMHB coaches a few months ago and I was so impressed with their staff. I think it will be a good fit for me.”

In his senior season, Frazier was 11-2 with 130 strikeouts and an incredible 0.74 ERA.

Frazier helped lead the Eagles to the Regional Finals in 2014 and a trip to the state tournament semifinals in 2013.
