Baylor wide receiver Robbie Rhodes is no longer with the Baylor football program, according to ESPN Central Texas program director David Smoak.
Baylor head coach Art Briles told Smoak that “we’ve parted ways for undisclosed reasons.”
The sophomore was arrested in May for possession of marijuana and tampering of evidence, but the McLennan County district attorney did not pursue charges.
Rhodes tested negative for drug use following the arrest.
The former four-star prospect had 10 catches for 157 yards during his freshman season in 2013. He was expected to play a larger part in the Bears’ offense this season.
