Temple ranked seventh in AP preseason 5A football poll

The Temple Wildcats received a No. 7 ranking in the 2014 Associated Press Class 5A preseason football poll on Wednesday.

Here is the full AP preseason Class 5A high school poll, with first-place votes in parentheses, records, points based on 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1, and the team’s ranking in last week’s poll:
