COPPERAS COVE – Copperas Cove quarterback Manny Harris expects to return to action this season, according to tweets the senior posted this week.

“The knee is getting better and better,” Harris posted to his official Twitter account on September 8.

The Bulldawgs’ signal caller was injured on the second play of the game against Lake Travis on Friday night, that led to 47-16 Cavaliers win over Copperas Cove.

“I’d like to thank everyone for all the prayers and support,” Harris tweeted on Wednesday. “I’ll be fine and return back to playing this year!”

The Copperas Cove Athletics Department doesn’t comment on players injuries, so time will tell how sever the knee injury is for the UTSA commit and how soon he’ll return to the gridiron for the Bulldawgs in 2014.
