umhbshieldlogoSAN ANTONIO – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women’s soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to No. 3 Trinity University Tuesday night in San Antonio. The win improves the Tigers to 7-0-1 on the season while the Cru falls to 3-3.

Emily Jorgens gave Trinity an early lead, finding the back of the net in the 13th minute and in the 20th minute. The Tigers held a 2-0 lead at the half, before Jorgen assisted Kelsey Facone’s goal for the 3-0 win. The Tigers outshot the Cru 35-2 in the match. Kathryn Parker and Cameron Shivers both recorded shots for UMHB, while Courtney Craig played the entire match in the goal. Craig recorded 11 saves and allowed just three goals.

UMHB returns to play Friday in a conference-opening match against Concordia Texas at 7 p.m. at the Cru Sports Plex in Belton.
