Tem-Cats win streak snapped by Elgin

templevb2014_vsbeltonThe Temple Volleyball team had their two game winning steak snapped on Tuesday night at Elgin.

The Tem-Cats dropped a five game match that went back and forth the entire night with Elgin picking up a narrow win in the last set. Temple 2-5 in 17-5A play, fell to Elgin by scores of 12-25, 25-12, 25-22, 22-25 15-11.

Temple was led by Tiffani Mays’ 8 kills and 6 blocks while Jenna Green posted 6 kills.

Angel Rivera had another outstanding night at setter dishing out 25 assist and Elaine Farbo collected 18 digs on the evening.

The Tem-Cats 5-8 overall will travel to Pflugerville Connally on Friday night.
