STEPHENVILLE – Stephenville (19-19, 3-1) has finally completed its long trek back to .500 in volleyball after facing a brutal early-season schedule.

More importantly, the Honeybees picked up another District 6-4A win Friday, trouncing Brownwood 25-18, 25-18, 25-14.

Stephenville used a balanced attack, led by the setting of Cameron Cardenas with 18 assists and Kelcee Jones with 13. They provided the opportunities for Mikayla Hobbs to tally nine kills, Emily Brandon seven, Nicona Stilwell and Morgan Gibson six each and Kaleigh Conger five.

Lauren Gutierrez had 14 digs while Gillespie and Jones added six each. Cardenas aced two serves and Stilwell one.

The Bees travel to Graham on Tuesday. They ripped the Lady Blues in straight sets in the first half of district play.
