BELTON – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor volleyball team remains 23rd in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Top 25 Poll.

UMHB totaled 228 points, an increase from six points a week ago. Hope College remains No. 1 with all 63 first-place votes for a total of 1,575 points and a 22-0 season record. California Lutheran and Emory hold the No. 2 and No. 3 spots with 1,506 and 1,442 points respectively. UMHB faced both California Lutheran and Emory earlier this season, along with No. 15 Trinity and No. 19 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.

The Cru is the only American Southwest Conference represented in the poll. UMHB is 16-4 on the season and 8-1 in conference play. UMHB returns to action Tuesday, October 14th in a 6 p.m. match against Howard Payne University in Belton.
