Parker, a sophomore forward from Belton, Texas (Belton H.S.), helped the Cru to a 1-0-1 week in conference road action over the weekend. Against LeTourneau University on Friday, Kat gave the Cru an early lead with two goals in the first half, then assisted two more as the Cru beat the YellowJackets 4-0 in Longview. She responded to that performance by assisting the equalizer goal to U.T.-Tyler on Saturday with 45 seconds left in regulation. UMHB went on to tie the Tigers 2-2 and improve to 4-1-2 in conference play. Kat ended the weekend with two goals, three assists and nine shots. She currently ranks second in the conference in assists (eight) and third in assists per game (0.62).
UMHB finishes the regular season this weekend with conference matches against University of the Ozarks and the University of Texas at Dallas. The weekend opens with Ozarks on Friday, October 31st at 1 p.m. at the Cru Sports Plex in Belton.
