The 6-foot-8, 240-pounder signed a 10-day contract with San Antonio after they cut Austin Daye on January 18. In four games with the San Antonio, Green averaged 2.0 points and 1.5 rebounds in 6.2 minutes.

The D-League Player of the Month for December could return to the Austin Spurs if an NBA team doesn’t sign him to a 10-day contract by the weekend. The Chicago Bulls, Memphis Grizzlies, Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks and Portland Trail Blazers have shown interest in Green, a source told Yahoo.

Green averaged 23 points, 10.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists this season for Austin. Various teams expressed interest in signing him before he joined San Antonio. Green also took part in the Spurs’ training camp before being waived Oct. 22.
