BELTON – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women’s golfer McKenzie Ralston has been named American Southwest Conference Co-Women’s Golfer of the Week for the week ending March 3rd. Ralston takes ASC Women’s Golfer of the Week honors for the second straight week and the sixth time this school year.
Ralston, a senior from Temple High School, won the individual title at the Tyler Junior College Spring Invitational earlier this week. She fired an 80-77=157 to top a field of scholarship golfers by one stroke for the individual title. This is the fourth individual championship of the year for Ralston and her play also helped lead the UMHB women to a second place team finish.
Ralston won four ASC Women’s Golfer of the Week awards in the fall to go with the past two week’s honors. The UMHB women will return to action with a trip to the CLU Regals Invitational. That tournament will be played March 16th and 17th at Sunset Hills Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California.
