McLennan softball team ranked in NJCAA poll

WACO – The McLennan Community College softball team is ranked 13th in the first regular season Marucci Sports Division I Softball Preseason Rankings released today by the NJCAA. 

Central Florida is in first place, followed by Southern Nevada in second and Indian River State (Florida) in third. Salt Lake (Utah) and Seminole State (Florida) sit in fourth and fifth, respectively.

McLennan is the only Region V North to make the poll. Odessa (10th), Blinn (12th), Tyler (14th) and Galveston (17th) round out the Texas schools in the poll. San Jacinto is receiving votes.

The Highlassies have an overall record of 19-6 and are 3-1 in conference play.
