SEGUIN, Texas — The Texas Lutheran Bulldogs broke their own Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference record for consecutive conference wins by grabbing 4-3 and 7-1 victories Friday over Southwestern.
GEORGETOWN – Linda Hamilton, a women’s soccer icon, has been named the head women’s soccer coach at Southwestern University as announced by Director of Athletics Dr. Glada Munt on Wednesday.

SHERMAN – Southwestern shot 51.9% from the floor and 43.5 percent from three point range to defeat Austin College 79-75 on Saturday in Sherman.
IRVING – In a barn-burner in Irving Friday night, Southwestern’s potent offense was held to just 60 points as UD defeated SU 63-60.
IRVING – Southwestern shot 53.8% from the floor and 46.2% from three point range to win their third straight SCAC conference game, defeating the University of Dallas 87-77 in Irving on Friday night.
KERRVILLE – Southwestern shot an unbelievable 60% from the field and 46.7% from three point range in a 74-54 win over Schreiner University in SCAC action on Saturday.
KERVILLE – Southwestern dropped a shocker on Saturday afternoon, falling 67-61 to Schreiner University. It was their first conference loss of the season.
